PLAY GAMES LTD (company number 15447714) is responsible for the personal data processed through the NearUs website and web subscription service. NearUs is a consent-based location-sharing product. A phone number alone is not used to reveal a person's location.

1. Information we process

• account and contact information, such as email address and phone number;
• connection, group, place, alert, chat and support information you choose to provide;
• location information when you enable location permission and choose to share it through NearUs;
• subscription, transaction and payment metadata supplied by our payment processor; we do not receive your full card number;
• technical information such as IP address, device/browser type, timestamps, security logs and cookie or campaign identifiers where enabled.

2. Why we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts, provide consent-based sharing and communication features, supply paid access, process and support subscriptions, answer requests, prevent abuse, diagnose faults, comply with law and understand or promote the service where permitted. Our legal bases may include performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and protecting NearUs, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where required. Location access and sharing depend on the participant's device permission and product choices and may be withdrawn.

3. Sharing and service providers

We may share necessary information with providers that support hosting, application infrastructure, authentication, payment processing, email, customer support, security, analytics or advertising where configured. We may also disclose information to professional advisers, regulators, courts or law-enforcement bodies where legally required, or in connection with a lawful business transfer. We do not sell location data.

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including account operation, legal, tax, dispute and fraud-prevention requirements. Retention periods differ by data type. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no service can guarantee absolute security. 5. Your choices and rights

You can manage device location permission, sharing and connections through NearUs and device settings. Depending on applicable law, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, or withdraw consent. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office or your local supervisory authority. Some information may need to be retained where law permits or requires it.

6. Children

NearUs is not intended for a child to set up or purchase independently. A parent or person with legal parental responsibility must manage any child-related use, ensure it is lawful and appropriate, and explain the sharing clearly to the child according to their age and understanding.
